ABOUT AMERICAN COLLEGE OF MARTIAL ARTS SC
The American College of Martial Arts is a non-traditional school of Martial Arts that teaches an evolution of several styles of Martial Arts with their techniques and skills designed for use in a self defense or combative application.
The techniques taught here can be distinguished from other styles of martial arts by the use of both hard and soft moves and techniques as well as both linear and circular techniques. Much of the style is comprised of joint manipulation, flow hitting, and the use of pressure points.
Our style is comprised of techniques found in Tiger Shark Hapkido, Hakdari Sohn Hapkido, Kenpo Karate, Judo, Wing Chun, Tae Kwon Do, and several styles of Kung Fu . With a mixture of styles this gives the practitioner less restrictions in movement and techniques and more room to develop their own individuality.
